Sleep Problems Information
What are Sleep Problems?
Simply put a Sleep Problem is a troublesome pattern of sleep that could involve
quit a few varied patterns of disturbances, for example:
Having trouble staying awake,
Waking up un naturally,
Sleeping for too long,
Un natural sleep behaviour,
Inability to sleep at all,
Going to sleep when you shouldn’t,
Having your airway blocked when you are sleeping.
These are just some of the more common problems, although there are quite a
few more that are around.
Are there different types of these problems?
In among the most common recognised variations of these problems, we have:
Sleep Apnea
This is where you can wake up from your sleep many times during your sleep
period because of an obstruction in your airway. The most common signs of this
are loud snoring and laboured breathing.
Restless Leg Syndrome
This is an uncomfortable problem that occurs when you are sleeping, lying down
or sitting. It makes you have uncontrollable urges to move your legs to relieve
the uncomfortable feeling or irritation.
Narcolepsy
This is a problem where you can fall asleep without any warning or have any
control over when it is going to happen. A person suffering from the problem of
Narcolepsy might find it impossible to keep awake as they suffer from short
sleep attacks throughout the day.
Insomnia
Insomnia is a fairly unusual problem it isn’t a disease or disorder on its own,
it is more of an indicator that you have some sort of an underlying problem.
There are different things that can cause insomnia from having Sleep apnea to
Stress.
Some other types of sleep problems can include:
Jet lag
Sleep Paralysis
Bruxism
Fibromyalgia
Sleep Sex
Sleep Talking
Sleep Walking
Snoring
Hypersomnia
